I want to start with saying thank you for the invitation and giving me the honor to judge the Protection Phase of the 2019 IGP WDSF World championships.
My profession has been training working dogs in the Swedish Armed Forces since 1988. I started with IPO in the end of the nineties as a helper and I have been training both handlers and helpers thru the years. I have been competing more than 20 times in the National Championships, The Nordic Championships and I also competed 7 times at the World Championships FCI/FMBB. The breeds I have been competing with are German Shepherds, Malinois and Dutch Shepherds. I have also been the captain of the Swedish team several times in the FCI WC. As a judge I had the privilege to judge the IPO WC WDSF once before, in 2015. I have also been judging the Swedish Nationals for GSD and all breed Swedish Nationals a few times and multiple other trials. I would like to wish all the competitors good luck at the championship.
See you all in Chelsea Michigan, USA!
German Shepherd Schutzhund Clob of Canada (GSSCC)
My love of training dogs started as an 11 year old boy with a Doberman named Grunt and we were welcomed by the members of Richmond Schutzhund Club. I currently train at Lower Mainland German Shepherd Dog Club in Langley, British Columbia Canada with my German Shepherd, Nash vom Wolfsdreieck.
I started helper work when I was twelve. I have been able to do trial work at club trials, regional and national competitions. Doing helper work is still a passion and love of mine. One of my goals was to breed and handle a dog to the WUSV. I was able to do this with Alvis vom Albi (aka Spike). My breedings have produced four dogs that have competed at the WUSV. As a handler, I have competed multiple times at club, regional, national and world competitions. Looking forward to the future as a trainer, helper and judge.
Wishing luck to all, at the World Championship!

My name is Marcus Hampton and I was born and raised in Buffalo N.Y. Through my years growing up I played football and boxed and of course always had a passion for dogs. I started Schutzhund in the year 2000 when I met my mentor and good friend Owen Tober at the Schutzhund club of Buffalo where I was a member and did helper work but now have my own working dog group and am looking to start my own club in the future. When I am not busy doing helper work and training with my own Schutzhund group, I am spending time training my young boy Viking in IPO.
I am a National level helper , and since 2000 I have done many club trials and many big events doing Sch and IPO I, IPO II and IPO III dogs as well as a police DPO trial and helper seminars.
